Drones over America??

If you think drones are just for blowing up Pakistani civilians as Obama & Co search for Osama & Co., you might have missed this... Houston police just ordered their own drones. And did their level best to hide that unsavory fact from the public. Ooops.

Didn't work.

  • I would say they are starting to go to far. But not as far as the FCC plans to go soon.

  • I don't feel alarmed at this.

They can already do it anyways, say with manned helicopters.

So now it will be easier and cheaper?

May be good to keep out illegals?

Many municipaties won't be able to keep the police force they once could, since so many are going bankrupt.

  • How can they afford them anyway? Aren't local police departments making cuts and laying off officers?

Good questions. I guess maybe their desire to control outweighs their desire to serve and protect.
