  • Toll House choc chip. It's on the back of the bag. Oatmeal too. It's under the lid.

  • These Boot Tracks cookies are so good AND relatively healthy! They look unique and are fun to make.

I just tried them this year and they were really pretty easy. It doesn't call for that many ingredients which I've listed below:
    1/2 cup salted butter
    2/3 cup granulated sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup whole-wheat pastry flour
    6 tablespoons cocoa powder
    2 tablespoons canola oil
    1/2 teaspoon espresso powder, (optional)
    Confectioners' sugar, for dusting

    Here's the full recipe:

mix, roll into balls, place on cookie sheet, make criss cross using a fork. Bake at 350 for 8-10 mins. I make these with my 3 year old all the time.

  • Buy the Taste of Home magazine. They have holiday meals and cookies magazine every year.
I like buckeyes (peanut butter rolled in chocolate), cookie surprise (a little candy bar hidden in every cookie). Now I'm hungry for!

  • Oh man I wish I had the recipe with me....I'll have to try and find this post when I get home from work...I tried out a Gingerbread recipe this past weekend and it was a HUGE success. They came out SO good and if you have a mixer, it's really not hard at all to make the dough up!
