how will i know my tubes are still tied,gynea said they cant see it on a ultra sound

so how do the doc do that kind of checkup. i had a normal tube tied,and signed a indemnity form that the procedure can fail,i had it done by c section.

  • It just is what it is. They don't tend to check. If you are concerned then use a secondary form of birth control such as spermicide.

  • The only way for them to tell is if they do an HSG (Hysteroscalpingogram) and those are only done if they suspect something is wrong. It is not a comfortable procedure by any means either. I would use a secondary method for a little while so your body can recover and build up any scar tissue that it is going to.
