  • My kids are 3 and 5, so if they could go one day w/o being super crazy and jumping off the furniture, I would say I had a great Christmas gift.

  • When my kids were little my DH would take them shopping and they would get me all kinds of little things. Once they entered school they had a Santa Shop where the kids could buy gifts for their parents and loved ones. I always got something like a coffe mug that said MOM or a Christmas Ornament, which I still put on the tree every year.

Now that they are older they usually make me something home made. To me it doesn't matter what they do as long as they have a great Christmas the best present I could get will be seeing their smilling faces Christmas morning.

  • My teens have never gotten us anything for Christmas, but this year they are going to be preparing the Christmas dinner for us. Wohoo! I guess that counts.

  • My one kid who has money is not purchasing me any thing, but he is fixing my computer. My daughter in college always makes sure to get me a present with my credit card! But that is nice at least I get one thoughtful one.
