Does anyone have some good casserole recipes? That you like to make for your family?

There is a pasta dish that I make. You can use penne pasta, tie-bow, or swirl pasta. Any work.
Add some real butter, johnny seasoning, pepper, and some garlic powder, or garlic salt to your likeing.. Topped with cheddar cheese, parmessian, or colby jack! with a can of stewed tomato's. It tastes very good!

I love cheddar cheese more on mine.

  • I make a Chile Relleno Casserole layering mixed jack and cheddar cheeses, then whole Ortega chiles, half-and-half (dairy product) mixed with some flour, and tomato sauce. Try to end up with tomato sauce at the top and sprinkle some of the cheese mixture on that. If we have any left over, not likely, I eat it for breakfast. By then the flavors have totally melded and it is wonderful.

  • Tamale "Pie"--brown ground beef, drain. Add a packet of taco seasoning and following package directions to make. Add a jar of salsa, mexicorn and shredded cheese. Mix. Transfer to a casserole dish. Top with a package of prepared Jiffy cornbread mix and bake according to Jiffy mix directions. Serve with sour cream and shredded cheese.
