2 Bumps

I was wondering how I can start a daycare business in my home?

I would like to do it first with out my business liecense. My mother and grandmother did it for about 13 years. My grandma is still doing it, for about 24 yrs now. But these times and days it may be different. But what do I do to start? My friend has 3 and wants me to watch them next year. :) I am getting a new house and a new car.:)

  • check what the regulations are in your state. But I dont think you can just do it without a license. They probably have to check you house out if everything is right with all teh rules such as safety. If you alone watch the kids theres only so much you are allowed to watch, you might need another person.

  • Don't forget to figure in taxes and of course food expense. Are you going to be certified? There is a lot to consider.
