How much are daycare providers charging per day for daycare?

My friend charges me 5 dollars a hours. / about 30 dollars for 8 hours. :)

I was going to charge my friend 20 dollars a day for each child. Making it 60 a day. But still keeping it at 5 bucks a hour.

  • Sounds reasonable.
In my state the daycare I use charges $3 a hour, I think it's a discount price when you do a full day thing though I wouldnt know I havent dropped them off for a full day.Yet.

  • That sounds like a good amount 20 a day. Most people can not afford a huge amount for children for daycare costs. Not many people get paid over 13 bucks a hour majority of people. Many of the facilities in my area such as day care's that are private owned businesses. Wanted me to pay 140 a day!!! ??? Like umm how?Ionly make 92 dollars a day geez. 11.90 a hour. So that was a lot. Others wanted 50 a day. I couldn't find any less. So it's crazy! If I took both my kids at 140 a day Iwould be paying 280 bucks a day! Geez !

  • In my state it varies. Really good ones? 30/day if not more. Bad ones? 20/day sometimes less.
