What can I do with this roast?

It's awful. It tastes like shoe leather. It's been in the crock pot. It's tough and I just want to throw it out. Is there anything I can do with it to save it?

  • Make roast beef hash. Saute some onions and peppers if you like those, then add some diced potatoes, cook till almost tender, then add the beef, also cut into cubes.

  • I was going to say feed it to the dogs, until I read about the hash. Just cook an egg over top. Delish.

  • try making beef and noodles with it. jus shred the pot roast and grab some egg noodles and a bouillon cube or beef broth. then boil the noodles in the broth and serve with mashed potatoes. next time sear it in a pan before putting it in the crockpot

  • If it is tough there is not much you can to do to make it better.
