decide to order in (have food delivered) because the weather is too bad to go out in??

  • No way. I would rather have someone bring it to me, rather than trying to get there and back safely with my DD in the car.

  • O to have that luxury!!! I live in a VERY rural area, there's not even anyplace to GO here really, and certainly no one to BRING it!

  • No, I don't feel guilty but as a generous tipper to begin with, I typically will tip 40 - 50% when it's particularly nasty outside. The way I see it, the delivery person needs the job and if people don't order stuff to be delivered he/she won't have a job for long. I also see it that he/she probably has some major responsibilities.. maybe even a family of his/her own to take care of. If they are willing to risk their life to bring me and my family dinner, I'm going to financially compensate to the best of my ability.
