Son is sick...taking him to Dr. in a bit...but think I know what he has...what do you think?

He has run a low grade fever for since Sat..... mild to moderate upset tummy on and off....mild headache...cough congestion....

His fever is up the highest its been.....101.1

I think its a sinus infection...what do you think?

  • I don't know that a sinus infection would cause an upset tummy. It might just be that bug that is going around. Hope it doesn't last long!! Hope he gets some relief.

  • Does he have post nasal drip or having bad headaches? Of not, then i would say no....that it is not a sinus infection. Sounds to me that he just has a virus. Those don't come with specific symptoms, they're all different.

  • He is I am thinking drainage in his stomach upsetting it....if he eats something it goes away until his belly is empty again.....

  • Sinus drainage can cause an upset stomach. If he has an infection, the mucus will be kind of greenish rather than clear.

  • Does sound like a sinus infection, if his snot is green especially. But, could also be allergies. What is it? Tell us, we're in suspense, lol!

  • Dr says Bronchitis with a very mild case of flu. Was prescribed Azithromiacin and Tamiflu.

  • It sounds like the same virus that has been going around here. Every one at work's kids have had it. THe people at work are getting it, I have it DS is getting over it.

    Starts w/ a low grade fever, and chills, after about 2 days it turns into just cold symptoms.

  • i normally don't get fevers with sinus, so i agree with the DR there has to be some other infection.
