Can you tell from your sonogram pic the weight of your baby??

  • Just from looking at a picture, NO. The u/s tech takes measurements, and thos measurements are used to guesstimate at a weight, but that can be something like 2 lbs off either way - so they could tell you your baby is 5 lbs but it could be anywhere from 3-7 lbs.

  • The U/S Tech can give you a estimate of the weight. Some put it on the U/S picture, up around the name.

  • A rough estimate,yes. They tend to run high though. Mine has my son a pound heavier than he really was

  • They can estimate but that's all it is an estimate.

  • They can give you an estimate - they did with 3 of mine and they were pretty close with all 3 of them.
