  • Instead of the traditional "pigs in a blanket", substitute little smoked sausages and crescent rolls. YUM!

  • Stuff Mushrooms

-Chop up a pack of bacon into about 1/4 inch pieces and fry it up - let it get really crispy
-Chop up two onions into small pieces and throw it into the fried bacon when the bacon is about 2/3 done
-Take the stems out of about two packs of mushrooms...chop them up really small and throw them in at the same time as the onions
-Let an entire bar of cream cheese come to room temperature - put it in a bowl and when the above mix well cooked put it into the bowl and mix it all together
-You will end up with a nice soft paste - stuff the mushroom caps with this and lay on a cookie sheet
-Top each mushroom cap with shreded cheese and when your about to leave, pop it in the over at 300% for about 20 minutes

You can use any remaining paste as dip with crackers, etc.

This appetizer is always a huge hit.
