  • When I moved into my place the coat closet was already transformed into a pantry.

  • We changed our coat closet into a linen closet. My husband put some boards up on the wall and then set some boards on those for the shelving. It was pretty simple and didn't take long at all.

  • I did what you are asking. I put a small dresser/ chest of drawers into the closet and put food in the drawers, and snacks on top. I also added 2 more shelves on top, and hung up the mops/brooms along one wall.

  • See if your landlord can install a set of rubbermaid shelving - the white wire shelving.
We turned our coat closet into a game closet.
