  • I do a basic meatloaf on bottom with yummy cheddar mashed potatoes on top.

  • I usually do seasoned hamburger on the bottom (using pepper, salt, onion and garlic powder). Then home made cream corn on top of hamburger mixture, then buttery creamy mashed potatoes on top of the creamed corn. Bake in oven for about 20 minutes and chow down!

  • This is how I make Shepard's Pie, easy and keep and my family loves it!

1- taco seasoning packet (mild or hot)
    1- pound of ground beef
    12 serverings of instant potatoes
    2-cans of corn
Lots of grated cheese of your choice

Serves about 6-8, but it's great for leftovers!

    Preheat oven- 350 degrees
Cook the ground beef and taco seasoning like the packet says
Cook the instant potatoes like the box says
    drain the cans of corn
use a regular baking pan (16x9)
spread the cooked ground beef evenly across the pan
then spread the 2 cans of corn over the beef
then with an icing spreader, spread the potatoes over the corn
then sprinkle the cheese (as much as you want) over the potatoes
put it in the oven until the cheese is melted (about 10 minutes)

And Chow Down with the fam :)) Send me a message if you have any questions!

  • Traditional Shepherds Pie is made with lamb, not beef, does not contain corn and is seasoned with pepper, salt and onion. i will look for a tradiotional recipe and post it if I find it.
