at what age do u let your daughter wear makeup?

  • My mom had levels of makeup.

    blush & eye shadow & mascara in jr. high.

    eyeliner, foundation & lipstick in high school.

  • IF i had a daughter, I would let her wear some make-up at 13. That is when I did.

  • I was allowed to wear lip gloss and a SMALL amount of eye shadow at 12 (when I went to jr high) but that was it till I was 14, when I went to high school.

  • 11 or so for gloss and blush...13 for make up make up with in reason and at 16 she can do what she likes.

  • Going into HS and you teach her how to put it on so that she looks natural rather than slapping it on so thick that they look like a painted hoochie.

  • I started wearing make-up at 14...which now that i think about it was young!!1 So, I would say 15 for my daughter.

  • My daughters started wearing a small amount at 12 and then we've let them add more yearly or with proven responsiblity after that. Ashley is 14 now and wears pretty much everything except liner on the top of her eyes. That will come later :)
