how can i get a 1 and a half yr old to sleep in his OWN bed?

Okay my son will sleep in his own bed but when he gets up at 5:30 he crawls into bed with us until 6:00 its when we get up for the day. But he usually sleeps through the night in his own but but we have nights where he doesnt sleep in his bed and spends the whole night in our bed so any advice on how to stop it? he is in a bed but he in in a toddler bed because he kept crawlin outof his crib so for saefty reaso we put him in a toddler bed.

  • Put him in his crib...hes to young to not be in a crib. Just for that reason. What if he wakes up and goes outside or gets into something. And if this is something that he does everyday, when he gets in bed with you get up and put him right back in bed and let him know that his bed is where he needs to firm. He will get the hint after a couple times...consistance consistance consistance !!!

  • Each time he runs into your room, run him back to his and let him know that he is a big boy and can sleep with his favorite toy or blanket. It helps to, if he has a dog or cat that sleeps in his room.
