How old should a child been when

they transition to a regular cup from a sippy cup

  • Id say when they are old enough not to spill it and make a mess all over your house...3 years old i would say. Just teach him or her to hold it with both hands and keep it at the table or in the kitchen. Thats what i did

  • I would say 3 or 4. After my son was done with sippy cups, he went to the Take and Toss cups with lids and straws.

  • MY son is 3 years old he is out of pullups now he is wearing underwear but he is still boo boo on hisself.How old he be when he is completely train.

  • My daughter was about 3 1/2 when I started giving her cups all the time. I do make her sit at the table w/ it still.

  • My DD is going to be 3 in a week. She has not had a sippy outside of the car in 6 months or so. My son was closer to 4 when he was off of sippy's. It's a learning curve like anything else.

  • As soon as you want them to. My daughter enjoyed her sippies bc they were neat colors and styles.
