How long after having a baby via c-section does it usually take to get your period? I'm almost 3 months past and still no sign of it!

  • I had post partum bleeding for 8 weeks after my c-section, started my real period 2 weeks later. If you're not breastfeeding you might want to get checked out. Of course if you're sexually active and not using birth control that could be why as well.

  • Having a c-section really doesn't have anything to do with it. Breastfeeding does. Since you're not breastfeeding expect it any time.

  • Have you taken a pregnancy test?
    It is possible to get pregnant right away, even if you were breastfeeding (which tends to delay fertility).
