Should I be worried?

Okay My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow and I still have not had my first pospartum period yet. I havent been breastfeeding her for about 2 months now...Anyone else gone this long?

  • No I wouldnt worry.

    Just because you are not having a period does not mean you arent ovulating.

  • You'd better take a pregnacy test, if you have had unprotected sex during those 2 months.

  • Ive taken 3 test and they have all come back neg...thats why Im kinda worried. I would love to be preg. again, but, the test all say neg. and still no period.

  • It can take many months for your body to get back into it's monthy cycle. I wouldnt worry. But if it concerns you allot then call your OBGYN for an appointment or just call them and ask the OBGYN nurse about your lack of period concerns. They get questions like this all the time. Your not alone in wondering.
