Do you check if your baby is breathing when he/she is sleeping?

I do this, but I always feel silly after. lol

  • Don't feel silly it is a normal mother instict! I always did that when my daughter was a newborn and never felt silly about it! u just always have to check on them like that to just make sure there alrite! till this day i still look in my daughter room at nite sometimes to make sure she is breathing and she is 16m old!

  • Yes all the time!! I asked my parents if they did that too and they said that they still do and there youngest is 4!!

  • My baby is due in May. I'm certian I will. I'll be a first time mommy. lol.
    I remember right after my niece was born, and how irratic newborn's breathing is, it just makes me nervous.

  • My guy is 6 months old and I am always checking him, night time or naps I peek in to make sure he is breathing.

  • yes i even still do even on my oldest who will be 6 soon anf my youngest is 11 months..i check all 3 of mine
