Suggestions Anyone?

Today and tomorrow I plan on finishing up my Christmas shopping. I only need to pick up stocking stuffers. It is a tradition in my family that everyone gets a stocking regardless of age. So, I am carrying on that tradtion. I need to get my dh and my mother stocking things. Do any of you have suggestions?
My dh does not like sports, so sports related things are out of the question and he isn't too much of a handyman. See why I need suggestions please?

  • Keep it simple. I went and picked up some holiday candy for adult stockings, small $5 gift cards for fun, cozy socks for your mom, favorite snacks, personal items like body wash or small hand cream, practical stuff like a tire pressure gauge, de-icer if you live in a cold climate, little keychain keylight ... Hope that helps a little.

  • DH: A $5 gift certificate to some place he likes but only goes once in a while (like starbucks, jamba juice, etc), a notebook with instructions for him to start making a wish list now for next year,

    MIL: bath goodies

Anyone: flashlight, keychain w/ room for photo

  • Candy or other snack-y items, coupons, gift cards, batteries for presents they might be getting, fun toiletries, hair accesories for your mom if applicable, cheap movies, card games, key chains (look up Finders Key Purse for your mom, it's really neat, clips to your key chain and then hangs over the edge of your purse or bag so you can always find your keys), book lights if they like to read, ear phones for an mp3 player...

  • My parents use to give us new toothbrushes, paste, floss, socks and fresh tangerines. We have never really done stockings-the kids never liked Santa (they were terrified actually), so we skipped it altogether!

  • gift cards are always good, Avon has had some great sales, also bath and body works, like hand sanitizer. We have a tradition with our granddaughter of a giant Hershey kiss, Note pads and pens, movies, movie tickets are all good.
