Wanting to get my car a Christmas Present ;)

LOL

But seriously
I want to get my car a little emergency preparedness kit.
I was thinking:

A Jack (we already have)
Spare Tire (we already have)
Lugnut Wrench (To change a tire)

so now for the stuff we don't have:

Flash Light
Flares
2Quarts of oil, for when oil is low and there are no stores open
Maybe some money $20 (just in case)
A gasoline Canister
A jump starter

any other ideas for a little preparedness kit for the car?

  • When we lived in Germany, we were required to have a car emergency kit at all times in our vehicles. One of the main things was the emergency triangles. Also, do you live in a cold or snowy area? We may also want to get a winter kit as well.

  • some duck tape of leaks, a couple bottles of water, a blanket for changing tires, cold, outings, a first-aid kit. pliers

  • A lot of stores sell these sorts of kits. You might want to see what they have in them and then duplicate it.
