  • only if we are going somewhere special like a super nice restaurant, funeral, church, grandparents house or picture day. Other than that, nope...they choose how they want to look.

  • Conservative, and clean.

As long as nothing is showing and nothing is too tight, they can wear any style they like.

Just not falling off of them.... Express your self is what I teach them... :)

  • Yes, when we are going places where dress should be appropriate. I can usually give her a couple of choices. At home I pretty much let her put on what she wants to. She is excellent with colors. But not so good with choosing weather appropriate clothes.

  • Nope. As long as it is appropriate, then they can wear it. My mom never controlled what I wore and I turned out a-ok! I do get complaints out of people because my kids don't like coats so, most days I don't make them. It has only gotten to 45-50 degrees here though.

  • Once they could dress themselves it was all up to them. Even now, unless it is an extreme special occasion, they wear what they want. But we also don't allow anything that can't be worn at school.
