Ate deer while pregnant? Is it ok? Just curious thank you

  • It's fine just make sure you cook it the whole way through... Lucky you if you can eat it though, it made me sick during my pregnancy...

  • Unless it's farm raised deer it is probably safer than beef or pork and Definately ALLOT safer than what they do to chicken. As with ANY meat. Make sure it is cooked through.

  • I ate deer and elk all through both my pregnancies. It's our main source of red meat. It's high in iron, low in fat, and generally more healthy than store-bought meat.
