  • NO plastic is welcome in our home... if we can't pay for it, we don't get it. So, we budget ahead for Christmas and birthdays, etc.

  • I just pay cash for it. If I dont have the money I dont buy it.

  • We save a little bit each month towards the next Christmas. I use cash only to buy presents and I make sure that I am mostly done BEFORE Thanksgiving because I don't want to be out in the mad crowds rushing around buying gifts. By November and December we are already saving for the next Christmas.

  • We save up mostly, we have a christmas club account we add to all year. We don't usually have enough but it covers alot.

  • We save up our money and this year we really focused on gifts that could be made or that were needed; not wanted. We don't charge anything anymore. Thats another way we are going green :)

  • I like to save up, I think credit cards just get you into trouble this time of year. My bank has a holiday savings acount and they match what we have in it, up to $250 thats always a life saver

  • Both. I have a Christmas club that I put $20 a week into and then if I need more, I card it but I rarely need more.

  • We use plastic, but we have the $$ in our account to pay off the plastic. We rarely if ever use our card for purchases that would take us months to pay off.
