  • Depends on how you define "losing a debate". If things degenerate to the point of personal attacks and straight up bullying, then yes, I close it. But then again, I don't consider that losing a debate, I consider it not wanting to deal with a bunch of little kids.

  • I never remember to close my questions, maybe months after the fact if at all. Of course I don't feel like I'm 'losing' often. I stand by my beliefs no matter how unpopular, unless someone can come up with credible evidence that I''m wrong. On those rare occasions I will reconsider my stance.
