He wont tell us what he wants other than a laptop. Wont wear clothes we buy for him. I really want to give him gifts like the other children and not just hand him money. Got any ideas? $150 limit.

I have a 17 year old boy too. We are getting him a smart phone but we have to wait until February due to the plan restrictions. I bought him a silly mario RC car just so he has something in his stocking and two pairs of jeans, which he wont give a crap about. I think if I were you i'd get one of those visa cards and put the $150 on it. Tell him he can save it towards the lap top or spend it how he wishes. My 23 year old flat out told me he wants cash. ok.
You do realize though that if a 17 year old gets a lap top he will use it to watch porn.
