  • Maybe check with realtors in the area of your rental properties. We rent a house and it is managed by a property management company. We found the rental through a realtor who was helping the company find someone to rent the place, so I think it would be safe to assume that there are other property management places that would do the same and other realtors would have such information.

  • They are expensive, and there is a minimum you pay monthly. You would absolutely have to have one if you are in another state, unless you can hire a property manager that lives on the property for a percent off rent, that can work REALLY well. Around here, the minimum monthly payment is 400-500.

  • You can do research online. Check out the online Yellowpages and serch by the category you want. Then you'll want to look at those companies websites. Look them up on places like Merchant Circle, too, where customers can leave reviews. When you have it narrowed down, talk to a realtor in the area you're going to buy.
