  • 1 don't think you are eating for 2 you are not but don't count calories either. if you have a craving for something get it but just watch on how much you eat. Drink plenty of milk, juice and water and a cola wont hurt here or there unless you start having to watch your sugar.

    2. Buy a couple of cute outfits and if you are having a baby shower do a register then have it around 8 months that way what you don't have you still have time to get.A crib, carseat and a stroller is all you need to start a bassinett or playpen is optional to start.
For tthe shower request onies, undershirts, diaper, lotion, gowns with drawstrings, sleepers and lots diapers, cloth diapers, baby powder, baby wash, bathtub, some outfits even put the crib, stroller and carseat some like to buy those.Which is great! Pacies, crib sheets, recieving blankets and lots of wipes.
It looks like alot but it isn't its the tip of the ice berg.

  • Pampers newborns til the umbil cord falls off. 8diapers a day so just figure based on can make baby wipes in a pinch w/roll cut in half of Viva papertowel brand and babywash mixed with little baby oil and water in a rubbermaid bowl with fitted lid...maybe google that recipe Tiny soft washcloths, and socks, about 10 each+2 hooded baby towels I liked the nightgowns b/c the kids legs draw up into the legs of the sleepers -individual cotton pants or nightgowns solve that problem. I just kept my babies wrapped well (swaddled) next to my bed in a fold up playpen w/bassinette top for a couple of months. small bottles and a few varieties of nipples, every baby likes a different kind. unless you breastfeed...which is so convenient and cheap.

  • also I ate a whole box of cheez its and then breastfed in the hospital. the kid puked up orange stuff so just know that it really goes directly to the breastmilk, what you eat. Eat healthy, you can walk off any pies or treats, walk in place for 20min if you pig out this month...cravings can be drank away w/water or flavored water and slice apples and fruit to help with morning sickness, like in a ziplock bag on the dresser for mornings...good luck

  • baby gowns ( sold alongside the onesies and sleepers)..they are great for newborns!!
Also don't let anyone tell you that you keep the baby just as warm as you keep are the mom with alot more bodyfat then a tiny baby...they do need to be kept alot more warm then you do.....keep a ziplock with several clean pacifier's..they will fall on the ground and sucking them afterword doesn't count torward keeping them clean, lol! I see moms all the time sucking the paci clean, thinking it's doing's not....Also formula can only be out at room tempuchure for an hour at the case you go that route....
