  • I need to get an apron, badly. I get grease spots on my shirts and it ruins them. :( I am sometimes a very messy cook.

  • LOL. I had to learn to be a clean cook when I was in Culinary school, and taught my students to clean as you go, but now that I'm retired, I do clean as I go, but sometimes I get in a hurry, and I don't usually wear an apron, so yes I have food stains on me. DH told me I need to start wearing red when I'm making him his favorite spaghetti sauce, because it always seems to pop out on me!

  • If it involves a powdery substance (flour, powdered sugar, etc) it's a for sure thing I'll be wearing some.

  • Yes but I try to stick to the rule I learned in 9th grade cooking class. "A good cook cleans up afterwards. A great cook cleans as they go!" LOL. Can't say it makes my cooking taste any better, but it sure saves me from a huge mess later!
