Freezing Lasagna

I open free lasagna in a foil bread pan for my parents then freeze it so they can thaw it for a quick meal when they don't feel like cooking which is often. I found this Barilla Lasagna pasta that the instructions say not to boil the pasta and it will bake in the oven. Does any one see any reason I could not use these to make my freeze lasagna? Can I freeze this uncooked no bake pasta?

  • I don't see why not. I buy the same pasta when I make lasagna, but I always bake it then freeze it.

  • I don't see any reason why not either and I have often thought I should not cook the pasta at all. I just wanted a second opinion.

  • I am going to toss them together then since you all agree. Then my parents will have some home made freezer dinner for the winter.
