  • Female.. yes even if fixed a male cat can/will still spray.. Stress, moving the furniture etc can send them into a fit.

  • Usually male cats will only spray if they don't get fixed, or get fixed after they're fully grown.... If you get it fixed as a kitten, the odds of it spraying are practically non-existent.

  • No,I don't think so. I'm not sure. Call a vet and ask them. No charge for asking them. Let me know. i have cats, but, it has been awhile and they r all fixed. That was the condition of adopting them from a shelter. Where r u getting your kitten from?

  • If you get a male fixed at or before 6 months usually they won't spray
    Males are more affectionate overall
Females have more attitude issues, males are laid back

  • Male cats are much nicer than females...take it from someone who's mother bread cats when we were young. Females are a lot more likely to turn mean when they get older. Male cats are always friendlier.

If the make cats are fixed when they are young kittens, they will never spray.

  • Both male and female cats can spray. If the male is fixed it is less likely to happen however they still can. I had a male that started spraying before he we was neutered and he never did it again afterwards. I prefer male cats they tend to be more laid back but it really just depends on the cat and their personality.
