Why would the yolk of an egg have blood in it? Should you still eat it?

  • chickIt happens and more common then you think. If you think about it chicken eggs are suppose to be baby chicken its just blood from the what would be the baby chick...but I certainly would have a hard time eating it

  • i wouldn't eat it, but it's totally normal... really nothing you can do about it... you could call the company, but it's a chance you take with buying eggs...

  • This is more common with organic eggs and the eggs are perfectly safe to eat. However, if you are Jewish & keep kosher, you shouldn't eat it.
