I am looking for a really yummy cheese ball/spread recipe to make for an appetizer on Christmas. Does anyone have a good Cheese Ball Recipe?

  • This really isn't a cheese ball, but pretty similar...really good!
    1 pkg. Cream cheese(softned)
1 sm. Tub of sour cream
1 pkg. Hidden valley ranch powder mix
    2-3 green onions
    1 pkg. Ham lunchmeat

Mix together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, green onions ( cut small) and ham (cut small) I use a mixer on low until its smooth. Add the ranch powder mix to your liking (tast wise, keep testing it just to make sure you don't overdue it) refidgerate for an hour before serving. Serve with your favorite crackers ( ritz garden vegetable is delicious!)

  • I just made one tonight. I call it my crabby ball.
    3 blocks of creme cheese
    2 large scallions finely sliced
    2 dashes of old bay
    2 dashes of worcheshire
2 cans of white crab meat, drained
1 can of tiny shrimp, drained
1 cup of shredded mild cheddar
    2 pinches of cayene
Mix it all together. Let it sit overnight. Roll is finely chopped nuts before serving.
