  • Well, I would give Infant Tylenol and if the temp doesn't come down, maybe a lukewarm bath. Then call the doctor in the morning. Was this a rectal temp?

  • If you feel it to be necessary (you know how comfy s/he is) I would give a dose of tylenol (acetaminafen) or motrin (ibuprofen). The most important thing is to keep baby in comfortable clothing - not too warm or cool and keep baby hydrated.

If you are still concerned later or in the morning call the doctor. 102 or even 103 is not an emergency but nature's way of trying to kill the ick that is causing the illness.

    Hope baby feels better soon!

  • I would have called the doctor immediately. You don't mess with an infant's temp.
