I can't believe my mil told my dh ..

I can't believe she told my dh that he should never have to take care of our daughter M-F b/c he works outside of the home and I don't. She told him not to change any diapers, make any bottles, etc. WHAT is wrong with her? He said he wouldn't listen to that anyway b/c she's his daughter too. She told him this when I was pregnant and a few times since.

  • Wow. Sounds like someone is stuck in the 30's and is angry about it. My guess is SHE had to do that with HER kids and is resentful about it, which means she must make others suffer the same fate.

  • I don't blame you for feeling the way that you do. Things today aren't like when she was bringing up your husband. Times have changed. Evidently, she is still living in the past.
