What are Ipods and what are IPADS? Not to be stupid I am just not into all this tech stuff?

  • an ipad is basicly a bigger version of an iphone but you cant make phone calls on it.....and an ipod is something that most stores music,video and pictures.....both are good products but it up to the person to figure out which they would use more......example......i love to read, watch movies as not to have both and ipod and ereader i have an dd 15 would rather have music, pics and be able to call her friends so she has an iphone........hope this helps

  • An iPad does have "physical memory." If it didn't, it wouldn't be able to store data, like apps, music, and photos, which it does.

  • An iPod is smaller, and is used mostly for music (although you can watch videos and play games as well). An iPad is larger, has more functionality, and can be used almost like a netbook, but there is no physical memory.

  • Sorry SWasson; I meant that it can't really be used like a laptop (which some people believe) because it's not designed for that.
