anyone else working on this Christmas Eve?

i only have a four hour shift. i never had to work at night on christmas eve. my old job we use always get out early. but i work at a assisted living center and its totaly different obvious because they have to eat. anyone else have the luck of working also?

  • Yep. Dh and I work every night no matter what. Including Christmas eve and Christmas. We work the night shift too.

  • luckily no!! welll, sorta..lol..i have 2 jobs..i real job, and then i also have a paper route...i have to do my paper route today..but that only takes 1hr 15 min..so, not to bad!! sorry you have to work!! hope you have a great christmas!!

  • i stay at home, but my husband had to go in today. he usually works til 7, luckily he should be closing up shop in about 15 minutes, maybe a little longer if they're busy. but he said it's been dead all week! hope to see him walking thru the door within the hour :)

  • No but my BIL had to..I hate that my sister has to spend christmas eve alnoe, at least we got to hang out all together all day.....thanks for reminding me, I'm gonna text my sis now.

  • Nope, but my husband did. I'm pretty sure they aren't going to pay him time and a half for it either...
    At the same time, I'm all too grateful that he even has a job! He just started two weeks ago.
