  • Go ahead and enjoy one glass. It isn't going to hurt the baby if you drink in moderation once in a GREAT while. It is the holidays and have ne with dinner, but don't over do it.

  • An occasional glass of wine during pregnancy won’t harm a baby’s development, claim researchers.
Pregnant women who drink one or two units of alcohol a week may actually find their child is better behaved than if they abstained from alcohol, they say.
But the risk of behavioural and emotional problems increases among the children of heavy drinkers – women who have at least one drink a day or a binge session of six drinks or more.

  • The problem with Alcohol, certain medications, caffine, and so on .. Is that there isn't any way to tell what effects which babies and how early those items effect them. That is why they suggest you not to ingest them at all, because what might not harm one pregnancy could harm another pregnancy. It's best not to drink any alcohol, have any caffine, etc. That way you're not taking that chance of harming your child. Because like stated, they cannot tell which infants are effected, when in the pregnancy, and so on.
