Had you ever turned your back for a second and babyrolled off the couch or bed and fell and bumped their head?

This happened to me and I feel terrible..

  • Yep... it happens to the best of us. Now you know he/she is a wiggly worm and it isn't safe to let him on any surface, without your hand holding him.

  • It happens a lot. Quit beating yourself up over it. My DD didn't fall off the couch until she was actually able to get on and off by herself and I thought I was going to die b/c she stopped breathing for a few seconds. It was totally scary. Take a deep breath and move on.

  • The baby is only a week old, so she's not rolling yet. But the boys both rolled off the couch and the bed before they were a year old... Kids make a hell of a sound when they hit the floor, but they aren't as breakable as we tend to believe...

  • With every one of my three. ((hugs))

    Our third actually did this when we were on vacation at Disneyland. The bed was soooo tall and she went right off onto a hardwood floor. That was the scariest time, she wasn't acting right and started to get lethargic. That one required a trip to the hospital.
