ho do i make sweet potatoes/yams..i have the canned what do i do?

please help

  • I think you just heat the ones from the can up...If you got fresh ones there's a lot more that I know how to do, but the canned ones are already mushy so it's kind of limiting. Drain and Heat?

  • Drain them some but not all the way or they will completely dry out then add some mini marshmallows on top and stick them in the oven until the marshmallow start to turn slightly brown

  • You can put them in a cast iron pan with brown sugar and butter, on about medium heat and let them caramelize.

    I hate marshmallows.

  • If they're canned, they're cooked, and just need to be heated. If you're going to mash them, throw them in a microwave bowl til hot, then mash & add your butter/cinnamon/brown sugar. If you want them candied, throw them on a baking sheet with the same stuff, or throw marshmallows on top, and bake til they're hot or the the marshamallows are toasty looking.

  • drain them and put them in a casserole dish and sprinkle with miniature marshmallows and brown sugar. Bake til marshmallows are golden
