  • We celebrate on Christmas Day, but we let the kids pick 1 gift on Christmas Eve. Funny, my DD carried the same tradition over w/her kids, pretty neat to watch how your children have fond memories and do them w/the Gr-kids. Oh, we celebrate Christmas Eve (early) w/a birthday cake for my S/O.

  • We celebrate on both days. We have Christmas Eve with my dad and his family and then on Christmas Day we celebrate with my mom. I was brought up this way and it is one holiday tradition that we are keeping. (my mil always celebrates on a random Saturday in Dec.).

  • BOTH! We let our son open a couple presents on Christmas Eve. Most of the celebrating is done on Christmas Day, only because about 1/2 of the people in my extended family work on Christmas Eve, so the family get together is on Christmas Day.

  • Both, and Boxing Day! We have hubby's family over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and then we travel to my dad's on Boxing Day for my family's Christmas.

  • We celebrate both days. We have our kids & grandkids over on Christmas Eve for lunch at noon, & then we go over to our kids house on Christmas day to see what the grandkids got from Santa. Our Daughter-in-law cook Christmas dinner for us today.
