Do first-time moms usually deliver late? That's what I've heard.

  • Some do and some don't.. I've heard normally yes.. But I've seen a few women that go before or on their due date.

  • That's the rumor. Generally, the first one is the latest, the second tends to come sooner than the first, the third is a wild card... But it really just depends on the baby. Due dates are really vague, and are meant as a range of time, not as a specific day. I am certain I conceived 10 days before they said I did (I have seriously whacky periods, and I was charting), and even though he was 4 days "early", they all said he looked overdue. I knew it!

  • My 1st was born the day before his due date. My friend's 1st child was born 15 days after her due date.
