Spitting up.... again..

My 10 month old has started spitting up after his bottles that he drinks. When he was younger he used to spit up a lot too, but it stopped. Now its happening again.. has anyone else had this happen around this age?

  • That started with my son because he would eat a lot of food then drink a bottle and it was jsut to much food. Try giving a little less in his bottle after he eats and see if that helps. Good luck and Merry christmas.

  • Does he eat other food as well? If yes, probably he eats too much and his tummy just get rid of the too much milk:) It is perfectly normal. If he is before weaning than it is time to start:) If he drinks a certain amount of milk throughout the day than split the milk up. Like he eats breakfast, lunch and dinner (weaning), you can give him less milk with them. But you can give him some milk before you put him down to sleep or after. And make sure he burps. It can be from the too much air he drinks while he is eating:P

  • Sounds like it could be reflux. Talk with your pediatritian about it and they may give him something to help with it.

  • Thanks! I think he's just getting too much food and milk. Especially since it doesn't even smell like formula spit up, it smells like throw up!!!
