Do you let your kids eat their candy from their stockings in the morning, or do they have to wait?

  • The older ones can eat their candy, the younger one has to wait until after lunch or breakfast.

  • Usually, I'm pretty strict about nutrition; but on holidays (Christmas, Halloween, and Easter) I lighten up. They can't stuff their faces, but I've always allowed a little candy with the Christmas morning festivities, and throughout the day. I add chromium picolinate to the breakfast supplements, and enjoy the day.

  • Considering my Son got a big bag of Christmas M&Ms..there was no way He was gunna eat them right away. lol. After He opened all His gifts, He wanted His usual cup of yogurt with a glass of milk and a cinnamon roll (which We do for breakfast every Christmas). He'll probably ask for some M&Ms after He eats lunch. Merry Christmas!

  • I let them have at it. It's Christmas, they don't get that luxury every day =P

  • He got one piece, and I will give him the rest little by little. I don't think he needs to pig out on candy all at once. Maybe if he were a little older I wouldn't care as much, though.
