# IS ONE STICK OF BUTTER 1/4?

IM BAD IN MATH AND ALL THINGS WITH MEASUREMENTS. I NEED 1/4 CUP OF BUTTER BUT I HAVE 1 STICK LEFT. IS THAT EQUAL TO 1/4 CUP?

• 1 stick is 1/2 cup... it says right on the package. So, you want half a stick.

• I use as much butter as I want, I don't go by the instructions all the time.

• 1/4 c is 4 tbsp of butter...one stick is 8 tbsp with is equivalent to 1/2 c

• 8 tbsp is a full block of butter usually which is half a cup

• Nope, one stick is a half cup. Look on the side of the butter wrapper for the measurements.
