Have you ever heard of Mitzvah day?

Apparently it's a day where people of the Jewish faith do good works in the community. I had never heard of this until this year, but it's such a nice thing for people to do!

  • I have. Even though we are not Jewish, this is a holiday we participate in. I think it's a wonderful thing.

  • Mitzvah in Hebrew means commandment but it's loosely translated at good deed. It's great to participate in scheduled mitzvah days but you can also performs mitzvah's all year long. As my family in I do.

  • You can go on-line and type in meaning of Jewish Holidays. This will help give you a better understanding. Basic part of it is helping those around you that you don't know or know little of or ones that you know are sick and alone, elderly. Even just cleaning off the front sidewalk helps.....
