Ringworms...

It has come to my attention that my daughter has gotten a ringworm on her leg.. I dont know how.. does anyone know where they come from?.. How i can get rid of it?

  • ringworms are a fungus, not an actual worm. It's kind of disconcerting, but you want to put an antifungal on it. You can use apple cider vinegar three times a day for ten minutes at a shot, or an OTC anti fungal ointment.

  • lovinangels is spot on. As for where she got it... Has she played with any cats? My oldest daughter, who is now 17, LOVES cats and has actually had it 3 times in her life from picking up strays. lol It isn't a big deal, just get Lotrimin or some other OTC anti fungal cream, place a bandaid over it and it will be gone in about 2 weeks.
