  • My favorite patterns are McCall and Butterick. I like watching Nancy Zieman (PBS Sewing with Nancy), and used to LOVE Sandra Betzina when she was on TV. I also adore Threads magazine -- they have some excellent sewing tips.

  • Hanna Anderson clothes are simple and easy to copy. Twirls and Twigs are more intricate but I love the way they mix the prints.

  • My favorite magazine, and patterns for little girls are Martha Pullen's Sew Beautiful Magazine and her patterns and books. I LOVE her, she also does a PBS show called Martha's Sewing Room
