  • It's greed, plain and simple. Anyone who understands the economy and the entire supply/demand concept knows that prices don't react that quickly; prices are adjusted daily around here.

  • – collapse
Republicans are in office. Everytime republicans win seats, prices go up. Pay attention, look at when gas prices were well over 4 bucks a gallon, republicans were in office. We will see them go that high again. Dems get in office and fix things for us, republicans get back in and we suffer again.

  • OPEC says the world can handle $100 a barrel oil right now. I think I read this in the WSJ. I think they are maximizeing their profits. Too bad the US can't use her own resources......

  • greeeeeeed.
We need alternative sources such as wind power for starters.
And IF there is a good way to get our own , get it from somewhere that there will be no oil spills, etc.

  • #1- The Republicans AREN'T in office yet. The new Congress hasn't been seated.
#2- Last time prices dropped was BEFORE the 08 election, when Bush was still in office.
#3-yeah, it's still the Democrats in office.
